I've been debating about starting a blog. I finally just decided to do it, and hopefully I can keep up with it. I want to have place where my family and friends can go so they can see Landyn as she grows. The hardest part of being down here in Las Vegas is feeling like I'm depriving Landyn of all the love she would be surrounded by if we lived back in Seattle. I want her to be able to grow up the way I did; my grandparents behind me, my cousins next door, and my other grandparents down the street. I'm closer to my family than many people find normal! But I believe I had one of the greatest childhoods ever, and I only wish the same for Landyn. Soon enough we will be back there, it's just a matter of timing. If God could hurry up and make that timing work sooner rather than later, it would be greatly appreciated!
So for an update on Landyn...she is just over 5 months, but probably the size of 12 month old! I'm hoping in the end she turns out to be my size and not her daddy's. She is literally changing everyday. I started giving her veggies at 4 months old. She's had peas, zucchini, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes and carrots. She loved everything except peas. Two days ago she had bananas for breakfast, and cried when they were gone. Yup, she's my little chunk. She giggles when I tickle her, gets shy when Rich smiles at her, and rolls over like crazy. She's gets angry that she can't crawl yet...but I'm not sure if she will crawl anytime soon because her tummy is kind of weighing her down! Every day is crazy and different and I am trying to enjoy every minute of it.
